2012 Prize Nominations

Hi all, the call for nominations is out for the 2012 William Nicholas Liberi '05 Prize for TLGBQ Activism and Scholarship (see below). Will was a tremendous trans activist and Wells alum who passed away in 2007. The prize is awarded to a current Wells College student each year in his honor. If you know a current Wells College student that you would like to nominate, email your nomination to Vic Munoz at vmunoz@wells.edu by April 15th.



Call for Nominations:

The William Nicholas Liberi ’05 Prize for TLGBQ Activism and Scholarship is to be awarded annually to a current student in good academic standing who has demonstrated a commitment to transgender and queer issues, especially through hir services as an ally to the Transgender, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer and Allies (TLGBQA) community via activism, visibility, literary, or artistic endeavors.

To nominate an individual for this prize please send the individual’s name, along with a description of how you believe the student has demonstrated hir commitment to TLGBQ issues, and why ze should be considered for this award to Vic Muñoz at vmunoz@wells.edu.

Please email nominations by April 15 so that the award committee has sufficient time to review all nominations.
